Of course your access was a bit better with your front and top loading unit. I just have the top access. I suppose that is one way to do it... just perform the surgery right from the top and work your way out to the foam. I suppose one could then glass back into place a fairly decent "icebox."

I'll have to re-examine my situation to see how workable that is.
