The late designer Tom Fexas used to write a column for POWER & MOTORYACHT...

Hey Dan,

He had a great sense of humor, reminded me of Tom Neale's old columns for CW...

His most memorable was about his scenario guaranteed to sell Cigarette and Donzi-style boats at the shows in Lauderdale, or Miami...

The broker would just sit there, and a Total Babe would step aboard, and after about 30 seconds of chit-chat, they would disappear below, closing up the boat behind them...

20 minutes later, they would emerge, the Babe adjusting her clothing and hair, and she disappears...

A couple of minutes later, Total Babe #2 would appear, and the same process would be repeated...

this would continue throughout the day... Seemed like it could be a pretty effective way to sell boats, without ever even having to speak to a potential buyer... (grin)

Great seeing you and Rey again, hope you CA wimps survived the cold weather...

best regards,

Jon
