The only problem I have with the current crop of expensive daysailers

() They help feed the image that recreational boaters, as a group, are wealthy and frivolous. I suppose to folks struggling to make rent that's entirely true but those of my peer group live quite modestly in order to keep a boat. While anyone who appreciates boats admires their pure beauty most of us feel quite privileged that we can afford an elderly Catalina or Pearson.
