I was at the show for 3 days and didn't go aboard one boat!

() Refreshing, after the old days, when I was required to go aboard almost every one.
I have no problem with the expensive daysailers . . . the Hood 31 is less expensive than an Aston Martin, and I wouldn't want an Aston Martin if I planned to drive cross country on dirt roads.
The folks I feel sorry for are the next generation of adventurers looking for sound good old boats to take them around the world -- or around China as it soon will be

- They don't bother me either. Daysailers are for people that DON'T want to get somewhere.
- Those of us in the 47% have plenty of boats to choose from.
