This thread reminds me of one of Don Street's yarns . . .

about a ship threading thru a passage in Maine with the pilot in charge.
Captain, nervous, says to the pilot, "I suppose you must know where every rock is in this bay?"
Pilot, "Nope."
Captain,even more nervous, "How can you call yourself a pilot when you don't know where all the rocks are?"
Pilot, "I know where they ain't."
