Our 275 gallon tank....

Our 275 gallon fuel oil tank was built well before they mandated bottom tappings. It is located on the side of the tank 2" off the bottom. In 1979 the typical 275 & 330 oil tanks were built like that. Today, they are all bottom tapped....

- My understanding of the process includes missing points in your argument
- That's my understanding: water comes from condensation, condensation comes from "breathing".
- The amount of air in the tank has nothing to do with this
- But what about condensation on tank walls?
