But I don't think these folks will put it on deck except for long offshore passages. It's reputed to tow well(maybe my first shot isn't indicative of it's drag). I'd be concerned about rowlocks on any dinghy I intended to row(and that's a lot of rowing). These are molded in and while they look stout, time will only tell. It has two rowing stations, a must for a small hard dinghy(trim is altered drastically from 1 to 2 people and loads).
They will give it a work out for sure! Being only 7'7"(minimal rowing range in that size for 2 people),and the distances they have experience with in the past, maybe they have some sort of power to add when they need it.
