But not too far from truth. I'm not a fan of roto-molded boats in general. Yes they're durable, but not strong where fittings attach, and not easily repaired if something rips out or deforms the plastic. I doubt it would be a good life raft, and wouldn't think the other compromises are worth it.

Most of all, the weight is the deal killer, IMHO. I think that unless you have davits the need for light weight is critical.
