Regarding multihulls and dinghy storage convenience - I did not find that to be the case.

() Back when I was considering a catamaran, I considered the davits most of them have as an asset. Then I chartered a catamaran with davits. I guess it is a little easier that hoisting onto the foredeck, but it was certainly not as convenient as I imagined it would be.
i much prefer the dinghy storage on my boat!
