Hey, some of us need this... we're newbies...

() OK you got me thinking about this... maybe the solution is a bucket with an anchor in it. This keeps the anchor from punching holes in the inflatable, and the bucket serves to hold the rode... and acts like a bucket, should you need a bucket.
Tom... not all of us have "grown up with saltwater in our veins." I'm still learning the ropes on some of these things.
