Here's another way to carry a dinghy.

This is one of the few powerboats in the harbor that inspires my lens. I love the way they've kept it original and simply painted it a pleasing color scheme for easy maintenance(and likely to cover age damage). Interior is bright enamels and simple, and airy. It's just like it was 50 years ago.

This is how they carry their Shellback dinghy(I've seen it bow down too with the stern hanging over the transom). Cost of davits isn't the issue so I assume they don't want to spoil the lines of this beauty(owners an architect). Their Joel White Shellback is a beautiful and fast rowing and sailing boat for two.

KARUNA's good speed is used to get around a lot of the coast, quickly, for day trips and an occasional overnight.
