None of the raster charts I have on my computer display your claim.
Nowadays, I don't think there is any practical difference. To believe there is requires one to believe that the on-demand printers used somehow achieve higher PPI than good displays, PLUS that the chart elements themselves are so finely detailed that those details are lost on anything other than paper.
Nobody runs a narrow creek, or slides between two boulders, using a large scale chart - paper or electronic.
The resolution argument is purely academic, and quickly going away even as such.
Now "old-man eyes and fumbly fingers" is a whole 'nother issue. ☺
