Depends on how much you two work on the boat together. So often I see couples treating the boat as the "mans" boat. STUPID. The man is at the helm yelling at the wife. The man makes all the decisions, etc. No wonder the partner (female) doesn't consider the boat theirs. Call it a nest if you will but when both are living on the boat, just like both are living in a home; both should be making the decisions. Yes, some factors will weigh heavier with one partner then the other depending on the what is being decided; but, that is not really any different then in land home anyway.
