You can see the wind speeds weren't that "great" -- but those waves are something. You have the wind/swell wave patterns which would have been something. The only saving grace, if you were out there -- the period of the waves isn't all that bad (easy to say in my slip in Annapolis).

By the way.

Thomas Point -- near Annapolis had one the longest sustained periods of 30 knots +/- wind I can recall.
