I've been reading Street's guides lately, they really are wonderful... Amazing to think he did all that work from a boat like IOLAIRE, I have a newfound respect for the man...

What a coincidence, just last night I came across his story in the Transatlantic guide of meeting John Steinbeck at the start of his writing career, and telling him "but, I can't spell, or punctuate..." and Steinbeck's reply was, basically "no problem, kid - what do you think secretaries and (guys like Jeremy McGeary) are for?" (grin)

Sounds like a really fun project, Jeremy, be sure to tell Don there's still at least one guy out there who really loves his work, and appreciates the perspective he brings to modern cruising...
