I'm looking at our summer sailing plans and trying to plan timeframes and potential anchorages. This year we are thinking of checking out an area @200nm down the coast. In the past we've done short easy days and maybe a little too long days and there is a +/- to each. What do you folks use as an average "doable" daily distance? 30miles? 50? more? Do you go harder to get to your cruising grounds and then ease back? I'm travelling with my wife, two kids and most likely our dog. There won't be any overnighters. I know there are others out there like us. How do you plan your cruise? It's sunny and the snow is melting so it's time to get planning! Thanks, David
