In Response To: One trick I've often used is to sneak some miles in before anyone is awake. ()
If the wind is right I hate to stop. I've often done twelve hour days under sail. Two years ago I left Southwest Harbor at daybreak heading east in 15 to 20 kts from the Northwest. Perfect conditions for my old boat.
