Depends upon your boat.Depends upon the weather. I suppose that we average between 36 and 72 miles per day. With kids aboard I would think that you would want to break the trip up. The dog might be happier as well. 
I have done Southwest Harbor,Maine to St Andrews NB in one day quite a few times. Usually leave at 5:00 am. Where are you headed ?
