Ah, that's the joy of no wind and a good engine... a civilized breakfast. I can smell it now.

David I have a '76 Hallberg-Rassy Rasmus 35. But I've decided not to put her in the water again unless they can promise me it's going to be perfect weather this summer. That, and I'm away working this entire year...gotta earn them big boat bucks for a few upgrades. Hey, meet you in the Bras d'or Lakes August 2011? That has been my most wished-for destination for years. I even have a chart of them on my bedroom wall!
Having a dependable engine is a joy. My Westerbeke has been incredibly reliable (knock fiberglass) over the years. I have to admit that sometimes I just enjoy motoring along. And new sails are a joy. When I first got my boat the sails were so old that the main ripped every time I looked at it funny. What vintage is your Cheoy Lee? My family got our start chartering a '68 C.L. Offshore 31...WHEN IT WAS NEW!
