Don't know if it's the "best" but we use 303 Fabric Guard
Ditto on the 303

water proofing...
Been using Thompsons for years
could i put the thompsons in a spray bottle and spray it on?
I don't see why not.
Please...
Um, sure.
What works better than sunbrella?
Just what I was gonna ask. Thanks. Inquiring minds want to know.
I'm not unhappy with the Sunbrella,
If I'm not mistaken, Jon Eisberg here likes Stamoid? I could be wrong, but I think he built his from that fabric.
I like Stamoid too
Nice looking dodger
Another shot, while setting the Lexan
Installed on the boat with Sunbrella UV cover
Sand it
Tried compounding, that helped but replacement was the cure
Stamoid is long lasting, but has a different look for sure
The other issue is UV damage to thread
That's one of the reasons I went the 'convertible' route...
Very nice!
There is some ventilation, but...
Wow, DDW, that's really nice.
Thanks! It was a great deal of effort to get the geometry worked out..
DDW's folddown hardtop dodger
Thanks! I can assure you we built it, I still bear the emotional scars....
An absolute helluva job! I think it remarkable.
Looks like an interesting Lazarette as well ??
The lazerette is spacious, and was actually a more challenging engineering job than the dodger...
Incredible. That boat is a masterpiece.
That is an understatement Larry!
Thank! It would be fun to have CW or someone do an article on it...
Don't let your wife fool you -- she gets off on the attention too
When you get to Casco Bay give a shout
Will try to do that...
I can't add much to the list discussed recently
If any boat truly deserves a "Yacht Style" feature in CW, it is your ANOMALY...
Too bad Nautical Quarterly is no longer with us
How do you access the winches...
This was one of the challenges - the hard top must go forward as it goes down...
Oh the beauty, the function! Complete Harmony! Well done!
congratulations
Wow what attention to detail... I am disappointed however.
Production vs. custom vs. really custom, and some more details....
If you looked at a range of custom-built yachts
I believe that's about the nicest hard dodger I've seen!
Thanks. Here is an example of the hardware...
Incredible!
WOW clearly beyond the reach of mortal men
Of course how many mortal men happen to have their own CNC machine?
It is all the consequence of a boatbuilding project gone terribly out of control...
I worked closely with a machinest years ago...
It is amazing what can be done these days...
Are you talking about the stuff you use on a wooden house porch?
Yeah, it's the same stuff
