That's one of the reasons I went the 'convertible' route...

it was obvious that the first thing to go on any dodger is the stitching on the top. My top is carbon fiber, further protected by the solar cells! And, when I leave the boat for any length of time I drop it, which completely covers all the fabric.

- If I'm not mistaken, Jon Eisberg here likes Stamoid? I could be wrong, but I think he built his from that fabric.
