I certainly can't take issue with anything you say, but I'm pretty sure no one in this thread was considering using Thompson's on newer Sunbrella.

That's okay, because even though I feel much better knowing that GRM is thinking about my "best interests" I can assure you that my next bimini (and dodger) WON'T be made of marine canvas. Thanks for all the cool info though.
