() One disadvantage of Polycarbonate is it doesn't stand up to UV or scratches as well as Acrylic. My last windshield only lasted about 8 years, and became clouded. I had this snap-on cover made for when we're not sailing, in the hopes the Polycarbonate will hold up better.

- If I'm not mistaken, Jon Eisberg here likes Stamoid? I could be wrong, but I think he built his from that fabric.

- Stamoid is long lasting, but has a different look for sure
- The other issue is UV damage to thread
- That's one of the reasons I went the 'convertible' route...
