I would think a 45' Jeaneau would be capable of sailing a crew of 4 to the Caribbean Jon.

I know there's a lot to seakindly designs but that's a pretty big boat. The size in and of itself should give some advantages over a smaller slower seakindly boat. I know we get tired on our old boat when conditions are rough.

Do we know in fact these folks didn't try some other tactics like heaving to? Is it possible in a boat like this?
