I have to admit having crude navigation electronics... I have a radar, a handheld GPS and paper charts. My autopilot only holds a compass course.
All of the boats I have ever sailed have had some variation of this... none have had fully integrated electronics (overlaying charts to radar for instance) or GPS based autopilot.
While no doubt perhaps nice to have; this discussion time and time again gets right back to "well if they had only used paper charts..."
I'm beginning to think the old Mark1 eyeballs are the best thing going.
