Wouldn't dream of heading out in fog without Radar & CP

Of course, back in the 80's I used to navigate that way even at night, it scared the crap out of me when I got caught out. Just compass, speed/log and "dead reckoning". There's a reason they called it that.

Now with CP and radar people navigate in zero-viz all the time. It's a little scary because many go way too fast, especially power boaters.
