With normal engine room heat, the real world output could be a lot lower.

With all the electronics going (not counting electric winches and autopilot), the use with the computers, VHF, AIS, radar, instruments , GPS units, refrigeration, etc. humming along you can be using 20-40 amps at 12 VDC.

Of course, if you turn off a bunch of that stuff (assuming you don't need them)' then a sailboat can get along with a fraction of that.
