() I tend toward energy conservation rather than looking for the tech solutions but that approach is primarily driven by personal finances. Last fall I was working on a house where the owners had electric heating elements installed under the concrete paver walkway. Another item added to the list of things I don't get.

- It's ironic as sailboats become, lighter, faster and easier to sail, they need more electric power.
