() They really don't require the kind of power storage that boat has.
Bow thrusters and anchor windlasses are (usually) only used when the alternator is turning, so that's not an issue. Cockpit winches, furlers and such aren't used that much either. Even a slow winch wouldn't take more than about 2 minutes to hoist a tall main.
