I'm sure you've seen the eye-rolling on all levels. I look for energy conserving efforts in all my design, but the fact is, I'm often entering a battle that's been long lost.

And I suspect it's the same in custom boat building. The numbers just will not make sense to some of us.

In other parts of the world, "people" are aghast that we here(on the US coasts) so nonchalantly own and use private boats bigger than a rowboat. They just can't make sense of it.
