In Response To: A quick survey - How much maintainence/repair work on your boat should you be able to do yourself? ()
Todd, I think the answer to your question depends on...
1) whether you are retired and have the time to do the work.
2) whether your yard (or backyard) allows such work
3) whether you have a PhD in a highly specific area of the natural sciences.
4) Whether you own a Hinckley, or not. For it would be Hinckley re-sale suicide to have anyone else but a pro do work on this baby...

- Why should anyone have to be able to do 100% of their own boat maintenance, if they can't or don't want to?
