I think you shoud be able to do what will get you homel

otherwise it's a choice of money vs. time. Some jobs are not worth my time which is very valuable at this stage of my life. FBG repair is an excellent example; I can do serious repair but it will take significant time for me to get it right and something I would hire out at this point.
Ask me again when I retire
