If I didn't enjoy working on my boats I would get rid of them. No doubt, when I get old and can't do the stuff any more I will simply get rid of both boats.

I bought my 1936 wooden boat largely because I wanted to work on it. I have certainly spent many times the hours working on the boat as hours using the boat. I get a great deal of satisfaction from finishing a project on that boat.
