Here it's a bit of: if it's been in salt water ALL its life vs even for a while... whether it's a write-off. And don't get me started on mast up!!! ;-)
My opinion always has been simple.
The irony of boats is the best way to keep them looking and working great is to never get them wet at all and to pickle all their moving parts. :-)
