Can't you guys let us Great Lake sailors have a false sense of superiority? If we want to believe that salt water is worse then battery acid then let us keep up delusion. I mean we have about a 4 month season so even if it was salt water it wouldn't affect the boat, we have about 21 days of UV exposure so no wear and tear there, and for the rest of the year it's on stands and covered. I say if we want to believe we are saving our boat by not being in salt water let us be. How else are we going to rationalize our staying here? (God I hate winter) :-)
