As others have written, the installation is the issue. You'll like having one.

I have a Lewmar Concept One, and it's 9 years old going strong. I have the main control on the pedestal and wired remote at the bow. I move between the helm control and bow control. It helps to have the bow control while adjusting scope and snubber/bridle, etc. You should have a bow control and helm control (or wireless remote) so you don't need to move as much between the helm and bow. Helm control is essential for single-handed raising.

If you can't run #00 cables, you can run #4 cables to a GRP 24 bow battery and extend your house bank, or wire it as a third bank.

Also, I have combination 3-strand NE Ropes rode, and HT chain. I have found that if I carefully taper the splice it does not jam when raising, and it flows easily down to the rode locker.
