Jon Eisberg observed that there is an old, submerged jetty which extends beyond the visibile end of "new" one.
If someone trys to cut into the inlet instead of approach inline from the buoys farther out, you can impact that hidden hazzard. When I you look at the chart, it's shown but not identified that clearly. If you look at the "dotted line), you can see it extending out ot the mark.
I don't know if it extends beyond that.
I've never viewed that as a entry one should try without local knowledge. (I know that there are many that believe otherwise.)
