() Joe, the loss must have been devastating for you after so much effort. You did such a great job. I was so sorry to get this news. I feel like I lost a little bit of something as well having followed your adventure.
The series of events are not hard for me to under stand. We're all new at this at some point. My first trip down the coast of NJ decades ago was wrought with groundings and other mistakes. We were lucky though.

- For what it's worth, according to someone close by, the boat hit the southern jetty, about 80 yards inside the inlet.
