there's even confusion from nearby as to what happened. These are fisherman and the quote below is from someone listening on the vhf(inside their house).

"They hit the South Jetty around 530 pm. Aprox. 80 yds. from the tip. CG rescued 4 people. Within ten minutes of the Mayday, they had approx. 3 feet of water in the hull. At the time of the incident, it was zero visibility. There is nothing left of it as of theis morning. I watched it break apart. Thank god the CG was there so quick and everyone is alright."

And this response,."I believe news was wrong. Boat was inside inlet"
