                    • For what it's worth, according to someone close by, the boat hit the southern jetty, about 80 yards inside the inlet.
                      • The current (at 5:30 PM on the 13th of October) was about 1.5 knots headed out of the inlet
                        • A large boat went onto the beach on Long Island NY last year.
                        • The news article put the grounding at about 19:00
                      • Well, 5:30 or 7:00? / North or South? (plus a bonus for you readers with momories from you youths) ;^)
