The thru-hull mushroom if bronze is still subject to electrolysis
In Response To: Find it interesting that only Groco sells the flanged piece... ()
and could become a weak link. Assuming the bronze is good I still like it better than Marelon. Plus Marelon sea-cocks aren't available in 1 1/4" to I need to go Bronze for the engine intake unless I increase it to 1.5" and use reducers on the tail.

- Maralon (not just plastic) are fine in the right applications
- I would replace them with proper seacocks
