None of mine are grounded
In Response To: I think that the "standard" is to ground all metal for thru-hull connections and protect it with your main zinc(s). ()
My propshaft is isolated by a flexible coupling, and my engine (in typical Volvo Penta fashion) is disconnected from ground except when starting/running. Of course, the cooling water makes a ground path.. The Europeans don't ground these things, different philosophy, less electrolysis?

- Maralon (not just plastic) are fine in the right applications
