You might want to watch that yellow or red brass nipple off the bronze street ell in that photo. Groco actually makes beautiful machined bronze (85-5-5-5) nipples. Most assume you can't get 85-5-5-5 bronze nipples but you can. In a proper seacock system I have seen bronze go 80 years. I have some old tapered cone seacocks in my barn that came off a 1930's wood boat. They clean up like new and show no signs of dezincification even after multiple decades of use...
They are called the Groco PN series of nipples.
