I think that the "standard" is to ground all metal for thru-hull connections and protect it with your main zinc(s).

Many reinforced hoses have metal (which you may, or may not, implicate). Then there's the issue of lightning protection (let's start a food fight on whether ABYC standards are correct :^))) ).

- Maralon (not just plastic) are fine in the right applications
