In Response To: I'm not sure what difference the type of boat would make in a collision, assumingly with a very large ship.

() The build of a vessel makes a lot of difference. I'm sure our old 40,000 lb. Gulfstar, though not as fast would fare better in a collision than a Hunter. We hit a reef at 7 knots and the only thing injured was the coral and my pride. The boat was fine. I don't think a HuntaBenaLina would fare as well.
