Latest info - SPOT tracker shows them ...
In Response To: Boat lost, 3 dead in Newport to Enseneda race ()
running right into N Coronado Island. Speculation is engine was fired up around mark 27 and waypoint set to Bahia Todos Santos with autopilot engaged. Course ran right thru the island. Don't know for sure of course, check out the straight track and the steady speed:
