() replace my SSB but that doesn't rule out having both. I'm a great believer in redundancy. As an example, I have an EPIRB and a Spot. Those folks had pretty much everything you would think necessary for a safe trip but you can't guard against bad luck. Like I always say, I'd rather be lucky then good!
