In Response To: Can you relocate your switch? ()
In 25 years of owning boats I have never needed to isolate a battery bank. Now that I said that I will probably do it 10 times next month! I can isolate the batteries pretty easy with the wires at the batteries if I ever need to. Annie checks water and voltage every week and specific gravity every month so far no big surprises.

- As Brian and others have suggested, proper disconnect is really the way to go.
