There is that 'I don't like the way you cruise', thing...

I think there are 'cruisers', and then there are 'cruisers'. It seems like there is a lot of infighting.

These days, we rarely meet what I would consider, a 'cruiser', although many people refer to themselves as that. In New England, a boat festooned with the type of stuff it takes to live aboard full time AND sail enough to get here, is rare to see. The vast majority of boats in our waters are simpler sailing boats with minimal long term life support gear.

Once you get south of here, you start to pick up cruising boats with the gear that tells you, it's also a liveaboard boat. It's amazing how few of those boats make it this far north.

What has you contemplating leaving the cruising life, Mark?
