We spent most of our time either
In Response To: Might be heresy on this board ()

recovering from inland trips or planning the next one while in Mexico. It was always another anchorage with new people to meet. We did Copper Canyon on the train, the Monarch Butterfly canyon, out of the way small towns and you name it. We were seldom board. We were tired a lot but doing the laundry consisted of collecting it in a bag and dropping off at the laundry. Half the time they would drop it off back at the boat either by panga or at your slip in many cases. I can see what you are saying about not wanting to cruise long term and that's a family decision that no one can fault. It's not for everyone and I have no problem with people that commuter cruise. I can say that we did get a bit board while spending a summer in Mazatlan. It was so hot that we wouldn't leave the boat until it started to cool off enough to reach the pool. But then the "movie night" on the grass kind of made up for it. The restaurant delivering your meal to the boat wasn't to hard to take either. It's all a trade off.
